Come browse through Kentucky Star Quilt Shop today. They carry current materials, supplies, and kits of traditional patterns and fresh contemporary styles. They have a great selection of UK fabric (for all your UK fans) and lots of themed prints. From time to time, Kentucky Star Quilt Shop offers sewing and quilting classes and these are proven to very successful!
Coming in March, there are a couple of opportunities for quilting classes. On Saturday March 2 and March 16th from 9-3 each day, there will be confident beginners quilting class. This class will be taught by master quilter-Sande Heldt. Classes will fill up quickly so if you’re interested, please stop in the shop or call 886-5995 to reserve your space, or if you have questions. Also coming Thursday March 14th from 5-9 PM, there will be a t-shirt quilt class. At Kentucky Star Quilt Shop, we can custom make your t-shirt quilt, but if you’ve ever wanted to start quilting this is a great opportunity and you’ll be creating something truly unique. The t-shirt quilt requires 12 t-shirts—a lot of people love to create these for students (remember the High School or College graduate). People collect t-shirts from 5k’s, relays, their favorite team, hunting t-shirts, even Harley Davidson—whatever your love is you can turn it into a quilt!! Sign up now.
Books on Main is Hopkinsville’s only book store, and they stock all current publications, books from local authors, as well as best sellers. Plus they have a great children’s section which has all the classics as well as the new popular books for that special child in your life. Special orders are available too.
